Below describes our Senior Audit Associate position. Essential functions and requirements will vary based on the position level.

Essential Functions and Requirements:

​

• Minimum of 2 years recent public accounting experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited 4 year University

• Licensed CPA or CPA candidate, preferred but not necessary

• Execute day-to-day activities of audit engagement of clients

• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners as well as manage assigned tasks

• Client interaction to ensure efficient information flows from client to auditing team

• Provide high quality, professional day to day expectations of audit engagements and projects in line with firm expectations

• Develop audit programs, working papers and audit reports

• Assist in preparing risk assessments and annual audit plans for clients

• Help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients and communicate findings to client management

• Help keep the team on task and work within set deadlines

• Prepare compiled, reviewed and audited work papers and financial statements

• Strong knowledge and experience of audits

• Apply working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures

• Demonstrated supervisory experience

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and be a self-starter

• Good communication and computer skills

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Must maintain strict client confidentiality
