Janell Martin is a Director at Purvis Gray. She telecommutes from her home in North Dakota and works out of the Gainesville office. She joined the firm in 2001 and provides a wide range of tax compliance, tax planning, and accounting services with special emphasis on corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, employee benefit plans, tax-exempt entities, and individuals. Her special industry experience includes healthcare, professional services, real estate, and timber.

Janell graduated from Washington School of Law with a Master of Science in Taxation, and Montana State University-Bozeman with a Bachelor of Science in Business in Accounting and Finance. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).  She has presented continuing education programs on a variety of topics, including small business tax credits, retirement plan options, tangible property repair and maintenance regulations, employee benefit hot topics, tax filing season updates, debt modifications, unrelated business income tax, and passive vs. non-passive activities.

Outside of work, Janell volunteers with her church, Meals on Wheels, and the local Humane Society. She is a Certified Master Gardener and Past President of the North Dakota State Horticultural Society.
