Mark White is an Audit Partner who has worked his entire career at Purvis Gray providing auditing services to a wide variety of clients and industries with concentration in local governments, public utilities, healthcare, and not-for-profits. In the governmental industry, he works extensively with Florida municipalities, counties, school boards, and a wide variety of special districts, including municipal and cooperative electric generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
He serves on the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Special Review Committee for the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting and has helped many clients obtain and maintain this prestigious award. Mark has participated in single audits covering hundreds of federal and state grant programs; he also works with numerous not-for-profit health care clients.
Mark graduated from the University of South Florida College of Business Administration, with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), Florida Governmental Finance Officers Association (FGFOA), Florida Municipal Electric Association (FMEA), and GFOA.
