David Gaitanis is the Managing Partner for Purvis Gray and serves as Chair of the Management
Committee. In addition, he serves on the Quality Control team and Concurring Review team.

David handles a wide range of tax matters for his clients. His experience includes providing
comprehensive tax planning, research, and consultation to individuals and companies on various tax matters. David also has audit experience for general government, not-for-profit, and utility entities.

After receiving his master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1996, David began
his accounting career. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and is a member of
the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Inc. (FICPA). He has served as past President and past Treasurer of the Exchange Club of Gainesville and currently serves on the Accounting Advisory Committee at Santa Fe College.
