Perhaps best known as the “Horse Capital of the World,” Ocala is a city of almost 61,000 people, located in Marion County of North Central Florida. It is also home of Silver Springs, one of the largest artesian springs in the U.S. and one of Florida’s first tourist attractions. Its horses and springs may draw many visitors to the area, but Ocala also houses College of Central Florida and boasts many thriving industries including, agriculture, aerospace, and defense.
