Purvis Gray is seeking a Tax Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead tax engagements for privately held companies, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals. You’ll provide both compliance and consulting services across a range of industries while mentoring staff and deepening client relationships.

What You'll Do
Lead multiple tax engagements from planning to delivery
Provide consulting and compliance services to privately held businesses and individuals
Supervise and mentor staff in a team-oriented environment
Perform technical tax research and develop strategic recommendations
Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for clients
Manage client relationships and deliver a high level of service
Oversee engagement economics including budgeting, billing, and collections
Review tax forms for individuals (Form 1040 and 1041), Exempt Orgs (Form 990) partnerships (Form 1065), and corporations (Form 1120 and 1120-S)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Tax or JD/LLM is a plus)
Active CPA license
Minimum 4+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or a corporate/public blend
Advanced knowledge of flow-through and pass-through taxation
Strong leadership and project management skills
Excellent communication, client service, and analytical abilities
