Ron Whitesides is an Audit Partner who currently serves as Chair of the Audit Department at Purvis Gray. He also serves as a member of the Management Committee, Concurring Review Team, and Quality Control Team. Ron has significant expertise serving governmental entities including municipalities, counties, school boards, and various special districts. His experience includes preparing financial reports to aid his clients in obtaining a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. He has performed numerous audits of grants under the Federal Single Audit Act and the Florida Single Audit Act. In addition, his experience includes audits of for-profit, utility, construction, not-for-profit, healthcare, and university entities.

Ron received his Master of Accounting degree from the University of Florida in 1991. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Inc. (FICPA), and Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).
