Tim is an Audit Partner in the Ocala office of Purvis Gray, serves on the Concurring Review Team, and leads the Quality Control Team at Purvis, Gray and Company, LLP. His principal areas of practice include governmental entities including municipalities, counties, and school districts; as well as not-for-profit organizations; utilities; health care organizations and time-share entities.  Tim is also a Special Review Committee Member for the GFOA’s ACFR Award Program.

Tim received his Masters in Accounting from the University of South Florida in 2002 and his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from St. Leo University in 2000. Tim was recognized in 2003 for the State of Florida Top 10 Score, CPA Exam. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Inc. (FICPA), and Florida Governmental Finance Officers Association (FGFOA). He has spoken to numerous groups including In-house Continued Professional Education classes; the FGFOA; the FSFOA; and the FACC Conferences.

Tim stays very active with his family and loves travel. He and his wife, Becky, have eight children and can always be found helping with all of the children’s soccer, softball, football and other youth activities.  He is also engaged in his Church Community, including running a large middle school youth ministry program with his wife.
